CAC delivers uniforms to the Tamayo Fire Department
The Central Sugar Consortium (CAC) provided 25 uniforms and 25 pairs of boots to members of the Tamayo Fire Department, in an event held at the Fire Department’s headquarters of the institution.
The objective of this donation, the value of which exceeds RD$175,000, is for the firefighters of this area to have adequate uniforms to carry out their duties and to represent the institution to which they belong with dignity.
The delivery was made by Julio Fernández, Communications Superintendent of the CAC, who highlighted the work carried out by firefighters day after day to preserve the lives and property of citizens in situations of calamity.
In addition, Tamayo Mayor Luis Milciades Montes De Oca, thanked the CAC for its contribution, as well as its many other contributions made to different institutions in the Tamayo municipality. Colonel Plutarco Reyes, General Intendant of the Tamayo Fire Department said that “We are more than grateful to the CAC with this donation since they are items that will ensure that we are able to ensure a high level of performance as a rescue body.”
The CAC maintains ongoing collaborations with different civil, municipal and military institutions to support them with goods and services that will allow them to fulfill their functions to the best of their ability.
