FCB projects will receive technical assistance from United States Peace Corps volunteers

On April 10-11, the Fundacion Central Barahona (FCB) received a visit from Mr. Michael Rothstein, Director of the U.S. Peace Corps Community Economic Cooperation Program.

Mr. Rothstein explained to community leaders the type of assistance they would receive from both the FCB projects and other business initiatives in the area.

The top executive of the Peace Corps also toured the entire community and projects such as the rearing of goats, a cheese factory, fish farm, among others.  He then confirmed that this U.S. government agency relies on projects supported by the FCB and will send volunteers who can contribute in terms of commercial development, negotiation skills, and training to communities.
